I am shamefully behind on putting our countless family images from the past three years into print; I even took a lovely workshop earlier this year on efficiently making albums from digital images, yet I'm still in a ridiculously large hole. I'm trying to dig out by starting with smaller projects, like vacation albums. To that end, I'm re-visiting a trip we took exactly one year ago this weekend. I was out-to-there pregnant with my second son & we hadn't had a full night's sleep or even a date night in forever, so my parents generously made it possible for my husband and I to steal away, just the two of us, for a week in Mexico, where we explored Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Isla Mujeres and Tulum. It was wonderful and incredibly refreshing, to say the least--a great way to recharge before our lives got turned upside down again. Since we likely won't be going further than, say, the creamery up the road this weekend, I am more than happy to relive this amazing trip in images now.
